Particle Range: 1-30mm
Application: Sorting of placer gold ore, tin ore, barite, manganese ore, copper ore, magnetite, tantalum niobium ore, etc
Jig Machine is a density-based gravity separation equipment that uses vertical pulsating water flow to stratify mineral particles by density. Jig machines are commonly used as a roughing or scavenging unit to process classified coarse fractions, rapidly reject a large amount of tailings, and pre-concentrate ores.
When working, jig machine drives water to move alternately up and down via a diaphragm. In the upstroke phase, the water flow lifts and loosens the bed, initiating the separation of particles with different densities. In the downstroke phase, high-density particles settle quickly to the bottom, while low-density particles descend slowly or float, forming a distinct stratification.
Ultimately, high-density ore concentrates at the bottom (concentrate) and is discharged through a discharge device, while light minerals (tailings) remain in the upper layer and are carried away by overflow, completing the jigging separation process.
High processing capacity with significant throughput per unit area.
Strong adaptability to fluctuations in feed concentration and particle size.
Capable of producing part of coarse-grained qualified concentrate.
