CLUM series ultrafine vertical mill is mainly composed of electric motor, reducer, grinding wheel device, grinding disc device, pressure device, powder selector, feeding screw device, oil station, main machine, electric control system and other parts.
When working, the main motor drives the grinding disc to rotate via a reducer, while the high-pressure fan generates airflow that enters the mill through the air inlet. The material is fed into the mill by a feeding screw and falls onto the center of the grinding disc. Under centrifugal force, the material spreads outward from the center. As it passes through the roller track area on the grinding disc, it is subjected to roller pressure: large particles are directly crushed, and small particles are further ground into powder.
The powdered material continues to move toward the edge of the grinding disc until it is carried away by the strong airflow from the air inlet. The material-laden airflow passes through the upper classifier, where the high-speed rotating impeller generates centrifugal force, causing coarse particles to fall back onto the grinding disc for regrinding, while qualified fine powder passes through the classifier and is collected by the dust collector as the final product.
When iron blocks and other impurities mixed with the material move to the edge of the grinding disc, they cannot be blown up by the wind due to their heavy weight and fall into the lower chamber of the mill. They are scraped into the slag discharge port by the scraper plate installed at the bottom of the grinding disc and discharged outside the mill.
1. Grinding wheel device: the main part of grinding materials, no power output, passive operation due to the friction of contact with materials.
2. Grinding disc device: the grinding area of the material, connected to the reducer, rotating itself.
3. Pressure device: control the gap between grinding wheel and disc to ensure the pressure of grinding wheel in the grinding process.
4. Powder selector: multi-head powder selecting structure, using the principle of rotating centrifugal force to achieve continuous production of fine powder screening and filtering work, it is a kind of high-efficiency, energy-saving powder selecting device. The fineness of the finished products can be achieved in 200-300 mesh.
