Suspension roller mill, also known as the high-pressure grinding mill, is an advanced grinding equipment that incorporates the advantages of the Raymond mill and has been optimized through design enhancements. Suspension roller mill incorporates a high-pressure spring system in the grinding roller section, enabling it to grind a wider range of materials with finer particle sizes and higher efficiency.
Suspension roller mill is suitable for grinding over 400 types of non-flammable and non-explosive materials with a Mohs hardness of no more than 9.3, such as quartzite, feldspar, barite, fluorite, dolomite, garnet, silicon carbide, and bauxite. The fineness of the finished product can be adjusted between 30-425 mesh, with some materials capable of being ground to over 1000 mesh.
The working principle of the YGM suspension roller mill is similar to that of the raymond mill, but its grinding device is equipped with high-pressure springs exerting a force of 1000-1500 kilograms.
When suspension roller mill working, under the combined action of the high-pressure springs and centrifugal force, the grinding rollers press tightly against the grinding ring and roll. The rolling pressure is 1.2 times higher than that of a Raymond mill under the same conditions, resulting in a 20%-30% increase in output.
When the grinding rollers and grinding ring reach a certain level of wear, the length of the high-pressure springs can be adjusted to maintain a constant grinding pressure between the rollers and the ring, ensuring stable output and fineness.
