Particle Range: can handle ores with particle sizes between 2-0.074mm.
Application: Widely applicable for fine-grained sorting of sand and vein ores, such as iron ore, ilmenite, zircon, etc., especially suitable for tailings beneficiation operations.
Spiral Concentrator is a gravity-based flow film beneficiation unit also known as Spiral Chute that leverages differences in specific gravity, particle size, and shape between valuable minerals and gangue. Under the combined action of gravity, centrifugal force, hydrodynamic pressure, and frictional resistance on the spiral concentrator surface, mineral particles undergo loosening, stratification, and zoning within the spiral flow.
The slurry flows downward along the spiral chute. Under the integrated effects of gravity, centrifugal force, fluid shear force, friction, and particle interference, high-density particles with faster settling rates gradually migrate toward the inner edge of the spiral, while low-density particles with slower settling rates move toward the outer edge.
Minerals of different densities form distinct bands across the chute’s cross-section. These are separately collected at the spiral chute’s discharge end via splitter plates, achieving separation.
No power required, operates solely on gravity, ensuring extremely low energy consumption.
Simple structure, easy to operate and maintain, with a compact footprint.
Effective for fine-particle(<0.03mm) recovery, offers moderate enrichment ratios, ideal for fine ore beneficiation.
