LDHB CTB magnetic separator is a permanent magnet drum magnetic separator, mainly used for wet magnetic separation and widely applied in the mining and mineral processing fields. CTB magnetic separators are suitable for the wet magnetic separation of materials with a particle size < 3mm such as magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore and ilmenite, and also for the iron removal operation of coal, non-metallic minerals, building materials and other materials.
According to user requirements, various types of magnetic separators such as forward flow magnetic separator, semi-counter flow magnetic separator and counter flow magnetic separator can be provided, and the magnetic field intensity on the drum surface can be custom-manufactured according to actual applications.
After the ore pulp flows into magnetic separator through the feeding trough, the ore particles enter the tank in a loose state under the action of water flow from the feeding water spray pipe. Magnetic ore particles undergo magnetic agglomeration to form “magnetic clusters” or “magnetic chains”. Driven by magnetic force in the ore pulp, these “magnetic clusters” or “magnetic chains” move towards the magnetic poles and are adsorbed on the cylinder to form concentrate.
The concentrate moves with the drum to the position with the weakest magnetic force at the edge of the magnetic system, and is discharged into the concentrate trough under the flushing of water flow from the ore discharge water spray pipe. Non magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals are left in the slurry and discharged outside the tank with the slurry, which is the tailings.
1. High magnetic strength enables efficient capture of residual magnetic minerals in tailings, and even weakly magnetic minerals such as fine-grained magnetite and ilmenite can hardly be missed.
2. The permanent magnet system requires no continuous power supply, resulting in lower energy consumption compared with electromagnetic equipment.
3. Multiple tank types are available to meet different particle sizes and separation requirements.
4. Fully enclosed structure is moisture and dust proof, adaptable to harsh working conditions in mines, with low maintenance costs.
