Rotary vibrating screen is a common screening equipment mainly used for separating materials of different particle sizes. The rotary vibrating screen uses a vertical motor as the vibration exciter, and eccentric counterweights are installed at the upper and lower ends of the motor to convert the motor’s rotational motion into horizontal, vertical, and inclined three-dimensional motion, which is then transmitted to the screen surface.
When rotary vibrating screen working, the motion trajectory of the material on the screen surface can be changed by adjusting the relative phase of the eccentric blocks at the upper and lower ends of the vibrating motor. Materials smaller than the screen mesh aperture fall to the lower layer pass through the screen aperture as undersize materials, while materials larger than the screen mesh aperture are discharged from the discharge port after continuous bouncing movement, thus achieving the purpose of different screening operations.
The basic structure of rotary vibrating screen includes the following parts:
Motor: It provides vibration force and is the core component of rotary vibrating screen. Vibration can be generated by means of eccentric counterweights or vibration motors, and the counterweights installed at the upper and lower ends of the motor shaft are the key components for generating vibration.
Screen frame: It bears the screen mesh and holds the materials to be screened. It is the main supporting structure of the rotary vibrating screen, and the screen frame is composed of side plates and crossbeams, which need to have sufficient rigidity.
Screen Mesh: It is the component for separating materials. Different materials and aperture sieves can be selected according to screening requirements, such as low-carbon steel, brass, bronze, stainless steel wire, etc.
Base: It stabilizes and support the entire device while allowing it to vibrate. Ensure the stability of rotary vibrating screen during operation.
Vibration Spring: Connecting the screen frame and the base, it can buffer and transmit vibration energy to make the screen surface produce stable vibration.
