Mineral Shaking Table is a gravity separation equipment widely used for the separation of fine-grained materials. LY Series Shaking Table is a high-efficiency gravity separation device specially designed for ore washability research and small-scale mineral processing plant production. Some are also used in the concentrating sections of large-scale mineral processing plants for placer gold, tin ore and tungsten ore (to improve concentrate grade).
LY Series Shaking Table is suitable for the separation of fine and ultra-fine ores and coal, including rare metals, ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, precious metals, and others. It can be used not only as an independent beneficiation operation, but also matched with jigging machines, spiral chutes, and centrifugal concentrators to form a complete gravity separation process flow.
A mineral shaking table mainly consists of 7 parts: head transmission box, table surface, frame, slope adjuster, feed launder, water trough, and motor.
When working, ore slurry flows into the upper part of the shaking table surface from the feed launder, and is loosened and stratified under the combined action of water flow and table vibration. In this process, transverse wash water flows in a thin layer along the inclined table surface, creating strong eddies that facilitate further loosening of the slurry.
After stratification, light minerals, strongly washed by water flow, are discharged transversely along the slope as tailings. Heavy minerals, subject to greater friction on the table surface, move longitudinally to the concentrate zone and are discharged. Medium-density minerals form a middlings zone. In this way, concentrate, middlings, and tailings can be produced in a single pass.

Q1: Why Are Particle Zones On My Shaking Table Indistinct?
Blurry particle separation on the shaking table is mainly caused by fluctuations in feed concentration, which will disturb the bed layer, and mixed particle sizes will also lead to unclear concentrate bands.
It is recommended to properly increase the wash water flow to ensure even coverage of the entire table surface, install a buffer stabilizer box to stabilize feeding, and complete pre-classification to ensure uniform feed particle size for stable separation.
