Feed Size: 0–6mm
Capacity: 10–120 t/h
Application: Recovery of placer gold, vein gold, silver, tin, tungsten, chromite, ilmenite and other heavy minerals; widely used in gold mines, placer mining and tailings retreatment.
Centrifugal concentrator (Knelson concentrator) is a new generation of high-efficiency enhanced gravity separation equipment based on a strong centrifugal force field generated by high-speed rotation, enabling efficient separation of heavy minerals from light gangue.
Knelson concentrator is available in intermittent discharge and fully automatic continuous discharge models, suitable for laboratory testing, small-scale plants and large-scale industrial mineral processing. It is the core equipment for recovering fine and ultra-fine precious metals and heavy minerals.
Knelson centrifugal concentrator mainly consists of a feed pipe, frame, tailings launder, double-layer centrifugal barrel, drive motor, vertical shaft and other components.
When centrifugal concentrator working the centrifugal acceleration inside the enrichment cone can reach 60 times or higher than gravitational acceleration. After the ore slurry is fed from the bottom of the enrichment cone, it is thrown toward the inner wall under centrifugal force and moves upward along the wall. At the same time, water is continuously injected into the cone through water inlets, keeping the bed in a fluidized state.
Under the combined action of centrifugal force and backwash water pressure, high-density minerals (gold, tin, tungsten, ilmenite, etc.) are firmly trapped and enriched in the cone grooves, while low-density gangue is discharged from the upper part with the water flow. This finally achieves precise separation with high concentrate enrichment and low mineral loss in tailings.
1. High recovery rate: over 95% for placer gold, around 97% for fine free gold (0.04 mm).
2. Large capacity: 10–120 t/h, nearly 10 times that of automatic chutes.
3. Effective for fine slime: recovers 19–37 μm particles; feed size ≤6 mm, optimal at 50–300 mesh.
4. Compact design, small footprint, easy to integrate into existing processing systems.
5. Environmentally friendly with no chemical reagents needed.
