Gold wash plant, also referred to as the mobile trommel gold washer or placer‑gold washing plant, is purpose‑built for gravity‑based pretreatment on placer‑gold mines. It copes well with clay‑rich alluvial gold ore and can recover tiny gold grains as fine as 0.04 mm. Gold wash plant also sorts heavy minerals including diamonds and alluvial tin.<
LDHB supplies two model options: stationary and tyre‑mounted mobile units. An optional diesel generator set can be equipped, so the gold wash plant can run at off‑grid remote mining zones.
Gold wash plant comes fitted with high‑pressure spray water pipes, gold‑trapping riffles and wear‑resistant rubber liners.
When working, a loader feeds gold‑bearing gravel and sand into the hopper. High‑pressure water jets inside the hopper break up large clay lumps in advance. Materials then flow into the inclined rotating trommel. Large waste rocks discharge directly from the trommel tail end. Fine gold‑bearing slurry passes through the screen mesh and goes into sluices and centrifugal concentrators for secondary concentration. It can recover ultra‑fine gold particles as small as 0.02 mm.
