Feeding Size: <30 mm
Motor Power: 3-30 kW
Capacity: 0.3-10 t/h
Application: Core wet‑grinding equipment for small and medium scale gold mines, suitable for processing gold, silver, lead and zinc, molybdenum, iron, copper, antimony, tungsten, tin, etc.
Gold pan mill, alternatively called gold grinding mill or wet pan mill, is a wet fine‑processing gold extracting unit built for small‑to‑medium gold mines. It is commonly used for gravity beneficiation of gold, silver, lead,‑zinc and other precious‑metal ores.
Gold pan mill combines crushing, milling, stirring and amalgamation‑based concentration in one device. Its grinding wheels and base pan exert strong compression and friction to break down ore grains. Operators may adopt amalgamation or cyanide leaching to liberate and gather gold, which greatly lifts metal recovery rates.
Gold pan mill is the mainstream grinding equipment for small gold mines in Africa and South America, with a feed particle size of ≤ 30mm and a single processing capacity of 3-40t/h.
Gold pan mill carries out ore fine grinding and gold extraction through physical compaction and gravity‑driven grinding.
When working, the motor drives two grinding rollers via a speed reducer. The rollers revolve around the central main shaft and spin on their own axis at the same time. Relying on their own weight, the rollers keep squeezing, kneading and grinding the ore inside the basin until the material gets finely ground over repeated cycles.
Mercury liquid can be added during grinding. Compression and stirring make liberated free‑gold particles bond with mercury to form gold amalgam, so gold can be concentrated and collected.
1. Gold pan mill integrates multiple‑in‑one functions to cut down processing procedures, well suited for small and medium-sized gold ore separating.
2. Our gold pan mill saves over 40 % of power consumption compared with ball mills under the same throughput.
3. All‑wet operation is adopted. The enclosed‑tank structure effectively stops mercury‑vapor evaporation for improved operational safety.
4. A diesel‑engine drive is available, enabling normal operation in mine sites with no power supply.
