Ultra-fine graphite powder is produced from natural graphite ore through a complete grinding production line.
Graphite ore is first crushed by a jaw crusher / primary crusher, then ground into fine powder by an ultra-fine vertical mill (the most widely used type for ultra-fine powder). Qualified fine powder is transported by hot air from the fan through the classifier and pipeline into the powder collector for packaging.
The complete graphite ultra-fine powder production line consists of crushers, conveying equipment, graphite ultra-fine vertical grinding mill, fans, pulse dust collectors, powder collection systems, packaging lines, and other auxiliary equipment.
The graphite ultra-fine vertical mill is a professional pulverizing machine that integrates ultra-fine grinding, classification and conveying. Its technical indicators, including process parameters, mechanical performance and finished powder quality, can fully meet the production requirements of ultra-fine graphite powder.
Mill Type: Ultrafine Vertical Mill
Raw Material: Graphite Ore
Finished Powder Fineness: 325 mesh – 3000 mesh
Capacity: 1–45 TPH (tons per hour)
Classifier: Multi-stage classifier
Dust Removal: Pulse dust collector (dust removal rate up to 99.99%)
The motor drives the reducer to rotate the grinding disc of the vertical mill. Crushed graphite materials are fed into the center of the rotating grinding disc via air-locked feeding equipment.
Under centrifugal force, graphite particles move toward the edge of the grinding disc and enter the grinding roller path. Graphite is crushed under compression, grinding and shearing forces from the grinding rollers.
At the same time, hot air is blown upward evenly at high speed from the air ring around the grinding disc: Coarse graphite powder is blown back to the grinding disc for re-grinding, hot air dries the suspended ultra-fine graphite powder, qualified fine powder enters the separator with the air flow and is collected by the dust collector as final product.
Unqualified coarse powder falls back to the grinding disc under the action of the separator and is re-ground together with new feeding materials. The whole process circulates continuously to complete the automatic grinding of ultra-fine graphite powder.
